New LaserCutters Image

The Stuckeman School maintains four Universal Laser 32"x18" lasercutters for use by students and faculty in the Stuckeman School and School of Visual Arts.  Students must complete an EHS online laser safety course and the introductory training session with the Digital Fabrication Coordinator to gain access.

Raster images can be engraved and vector drawings may be used to cut or etch sheet material. The maximum sheet size is 32"x18" and the maximum cutting depth is approximately 1/4" for most materials. The laser cutters are available for use 24/7. Time reservations of up to 1 hour may be made on the signup sheets posted in the lasercutter area.

Training is required for Laser Cutter access. Visit the training page for information.
